My consoles (Part 5): My Playstation 2 consoles

After hundreds of good hours I did spend the first Playstation, it was clear I had to console myself with the second Sony Playstation 2 , so as I could, I got it, ready to buy a good amount of quality games.

In addition, I got Final Fantasy XII , which itself was very good although not even remotely hooked like the previous Final Fantasy, but as I say, also was of high quality.

A new Square-Enix saga began in Playstation 2, the already famous saga Kingdom Hearts . At first, many without even playing, labeled him a child because he appeared in Disney characters, but the game has made it clear that just because these characters appear, the argument will be of lower quality, because KH has one of the stories most emotional of games, but yes, also the most messy due to the number of titles in the series and appeared to do little more than rolling the bush. Today, all we are still awaiting the announcement of the third installment of the original storyline for the home console, but it's getting pretty hard to get.

With PS2 could continue with another great series of games: Metal Gear Solid , which came two new releases, both of high quality, but unfortunately, because difference appeared in the first Playstation, arrived with English voices, something that is sorely missed, especially when the PSX was honored to be probably the game with the best dub ever held Castilian. And the thing is, I continued with another PS2 for me, was one of the best started in the first Playstation: Broken Sword . Silent Hill has always been the direct competitor of Resident Evil, but each with a different style, for while Resident Evil is based on the sudden scares, Silent Hill was always the psychological fear. Currently, the two sagas seem even less, because Resident Evil has changed considerably as the game, which has not changed much in the SH series. I bought Silent Hill Collection , which came with the second, third, and fourth games of the series, and all for the price of one.

The second part of one of the first games for the console appeared, Dark Cloud, is part of my collection, called Dark Chronicle . A JRPG which also had to create villages and put people in it, taking care of them in the most suitable for them.

A JRPG game series although it has a great reputation, I had never played, named Arc, so when one of his deliveries appeared on PS2, do not hesitate to get them cheap. I was quite surprised, thanks to a very good argument, which we had to see the point of view of two different characters, brothers, but being a considered a true hérore and the other around a villain. Also, to everyone's surprise, the game was entirely dubbed into English, something unusual in the genre. The full name of the game is Arc: The Twilight of the Souls.

JRPG A new saga began with Playstation 2, name. Hack, familiar to all today, but unfortunately and does not reach our land due to poor sales of the first 4 games. These first 4 games were really one, that appeared every 3 months without fail, completing the same argument. A big mistake was just that, it came at a price even lower than normal, that to 4 parts of a game that anyone who has played will have noticed that fit onto a single disc ... for as no. With PS2 I entered a new series of JPRG, the popular Star Ocean, with the game Star Ocean Till the End of Time . Though he strongly English, as that was no impediment to me, I could enjoy it in full, finding a great argument got me hooked on the saga. Special mention also for its great soundtrack, with a very sad song that came in handy for certain game situations.

Wild Arms is a series of JPRG also started with the first Playstation, and that blew my mind with his grand argument, so as I could, I picked up the fourth installment in the series, Wild Arms 4 . Unfortunately, I could not play the 2 or 3, because it came out in Spain, and by that time games did not matter. Yes, I must say that the quarter is dreadful in every respect, being probably the worst JRPG on PS2 I had. There is also a fifth installment, and off course appeared in our country, but was never able to find ... so I dont know if they brought a few units finally canceled or exit here.

And again ... xD And another JRPG over again one belonging to a familiar saga xD This time I talk about Suikoden IV . It was my first Suikoden, and there I went to play the previous three, but never got to play Suikoden V, I can not remember why ... When I was barely out good games for PS2, the arrival of a new title, and also belonging to the JRPG genre, it appeared, I was thrilled, especially when the game is quality as good as it turned out Rogue Galaxy. It was probably the last great game I had for PS2 (the last game was Wild Arms 4, but as I said before, I did not like too much).

The last JRPG which I will discuss in this entry is one of the Tales series of, called Tales of the Abyss . This game never came to appear in our country, but taking advantage that I took a trip to Japan when I went to Akihabara I bought it as I saw, but was already confirmed that it would bring us, which is a shame but hey, I at least I have it xD

I have another game, which is very different from the rest, Eye Toy Play .
